Honor Our Military

Let’s honor our military,
The men and women who serve,
Whose dedication to our country
Does not falter, halt or swerve. Let’s respect them for their courage;
They’re ready to do what’s right
To keep Nepal safe,
So we can sleep better at night. Let’s support and defend our soldiers,
Whose hardships are brutal and cruel,
Whose discipline we can’t imagine,
Who follow each order and rule. Here’s to those who choose to be warriors
And their helpers good and true;
They’re fighting for Nepali values;
They’re fighting for me and you.

मेरि आमा हाँस्नेछिन

उ, हेर यतै आउँदै छ;

त्यो आगो को मुस्लो!

तिव्र वेगका साथ

दन्कँदै छ, फडफडाउँदै छ!

हो, यसपालि त,

यसले अबश्य जलाउँछ,

यो पुरानो निर्लज्ज पर्खाल!

साबधान!!

पानी हाल्ने कोशिस नगर।

यसपालिको आगो,

पानीले नै सल्किएको हो!

जति पानी खन्याउँछौ,

त्यति यो दन्कन्छ!

हेर त उ, यतै आउँदै छ;

गड्गडाउँदो भेल!

चट्टानलाई चिर्दै।

सुकेको खहरे सम्झनेहरु,

लौ हेर।

तिमीले रोक्नै नसक्ने बाढि

उर्लेर आउँदै छ।

साबधान!!

प्रयास नगर यसलाई रोक्ने!

यसपालीको भेल,

तिमीले रोकेर नै बल्झेको हो!

जति रोक्छौ,

त्यति जम्छ र अझ शक्तिवान बन्छ।

अनि फोर्छ यसले तिम्रो बाँध

अघि भन्दा अझ तिव्र बेगले!

लौ हेर, उडेर जाँदैछ

त्यो कालो बादल!

अब अन्धकार धेरै टिक्दैन।

हावा बहेको छ

तर हिजोअस्ति भन्दा विपरित!

बादललाई उडाउँदै छ

पर कतै तिर

अनकन्टार अन्न्तमा!

उ, तारा झिल्मिलाउँदै छन्!

बिस्तारै लाखौँ ताराले,

धरती झलमल पार्नेछन्!

अनि, भोलिको सुर्योदय संगै,

मेरि आमा हाँस्ने छिन!

उन्मुक्त हाँस्ने छिन!

स्वतन्त्र हाँस्नेछिन!

Mother Nepal

When the sun comes ,nature smiles
when the moon comes, darkness cries
But at happy and sorrow ,at misery and grievence you are their mother following like the shadow all the way looking after me till the grave
the beauty of my mother land is none compared to any other land
the purity of your love is more precious than sacred amrita
the kindness of your heart cannot be expressed as the universe is vast
GOD should hate ,having created you so great
the diamond that shines becomes lazy before your eyes
But today the glogy of my mother ,becoming prey for other
everyone have their way,vampires have their sway
none to see your welfare,everywhere became warfare
BUT………………MOTHER……….. my eyes ,search for you
my mind thinks of you
and my heart ,beats for you ………….. forever……………forever……..
