List of Political Parties Registered for April 2008 Election

• Those of you who are not familiar with Nepali Politics, and probably wondering why the number is so much. The answer is, everyone has the freedom to register their party, who does well depends on the money that they have for campaign. It is believed that some parties are simply created for the sake of having a party. No third party has ever one any election in Nepal expect the first largest and the second largest party. • Poor nations have more political parties than others. It helps them raise funds whether the funds are used for personal purpose or to win election. Nepal's Election Commission doesn't have any rules on the limit of funds a candidate can raise
• Some parties raise money by threatening something which has been seen before in the History of Nepal. but Government has done nothing to prevent this act often termed as "Cowardly Begging " during the modern times - 21st century
